SunのWeb Server/Proxy Serverもオープンソース化へ！！
もう、ご存知の方も多いかと思いますが、
私が休んでいる間に、SunのWeb サーバ、Proxyサーバ周辺にも
新たな波が来ていました。
2008/07/23に発表との事ですが、下記のように、Sun Java System Web Server 7.0と
Sun Java System Web Proxy ServerがBSDライセンスにより、OpenSolarisコミュニティの
Web スタックのサブプロジェクトの一部として、オープンソース化される事が発表されました。
これらの製品のソースコードはCY08Q3なので、今年の秋くらいまでには
リリースされるのではないかと思います。

Sun also announced that it is open sourcing the core components of the Sun Java System Web Server 7.0
and Sun Java System Web Proxy technologies under a BSD (Berkeley Software Distribution) license in the
Web Stack sub-project of the OpenSolaris community. The Web and Proxy source code will be available in CY08Q3.
